I am pleasantly surprised

at this weeks Glee.

I should clarify: it was the Madonna episode. Now, I'm not a big glee fan, and Rachel annoys me to no end, and I can live if I miss an episode (my sisters fill me in on it anyway). But it's cute and I like the songs, if notalways the renditions and I was terrified that they'd not do such a great job on Like a Prayer (because they completely butchered Highway to Hell the week before) which is first and foremost my favourite Madonna song, and one of a few that I really really like) but they did well, if it was a little short. Frankly, it could have been more epic if they had given it a bit more time.

I'm still upset about them killing AC/DC though. I can't get over it easily, it still shocks me when I think about it.

And finally, be careful and do not talk to me about Supernatural. I'm caught up to episode 5.19 now, but I have to wait until next Wednesday to be able to watch 5.20 and 5.21, in prep for 5.22 (which will hit the internet on my Friday afternoon). All I know is what's in the promo's and what's on those sneak peeks they release. Nothing more.

Okay, I have a new finally; actually, three:
1. I bought the Mumford and Sons album. I do hope you all know what I'm talking about, but if you don't, check them out. They've got such a beautiful sound.
2. I LOVE LEVERAGE. I've been wanting to see it for a while and shamefully fell in love with it via IMDB quotes, but didnt want to download it, so I've had my eye on the video stores and such- and when I found out I could buy it, but couldn't find a place to rent it, I nearly bought a copy (whch wouldn't have gone down well with my family) and was going to sell it if I didnt like it (which I thought impossible, but you never know). But then, SPOTTED at my local video rental place, I hired it out yesterday. And promptly fell in love with it all over again. Now, I know for sure that I will buy it, but I might have to wait till Christmas.
3. I'm working on a new story. The Big-Bang-that-is-no-more is being put on the backburner for a while because it's still not happening, so I['m working on something newer, and shorter. And so far, while I like the premise, it's awful. I'm so out of practise and it shows. It's terrible terrible bad awful writing and I'm dreading the edit.
