Mar. 9th, 2011 12:55 amis my favourite Agatha Christie book ever. It's psychological thriller themes and closed-off setting are timeless, providing the basis for all kinds of other media- P.D James' The Skull Beneath the Skin (which I didn't like, at all), Mindhunters, Harper's Island etc etc. It's more than the idea that you know the killer, it's the idea that it could be you, that underneath the exterior of human there's something dark and dangerous and twisted.
