Just quickly dropping in to say hi- I'm still alive!

I've had a really rough time of it recently. It's been a really draining semester at uni so far (for it's not over) and am just generally feeling like a big ball of shit most of the time. Consequently, I neglected everything. Well, sort of. I still read a fair few fics here on LJ when I could, but I've rarely commented (which makes me feel worse, because I know how it feels to recieve comments on your work). I've just been in a really bad headspace. But I won't go into it.

Anyway, I'm here now today to rec you a video. You may have seen it before, I think it's doing the rounds, but I felt like it needed to be shared.

It's Harry Potter, because Harry Potter is all kinds of awesome and is still very dear to me, and this is one of the best Potter vids I've seen in while (though to be honest, I haven't seen many recently either). Besides, we're so close to the final movie being released! I'm both giddy and anxious, and there's a bit of sadness that it's kind of all going to be over for good.

I do have my criticisms- for a video about keeping on going and moving forward, I felt like there was too much "looking back" in the way they edited it, I thought it would have worked better if it had been mostly sequential through the movies. Regardless, I liked it a lot better after the first time around, and every time I watch it I like it more and more. And the song is perfect for it.

Hey dear, it's so good to hear from you!!! I actually mused a few days ago if you were gone for good, I was really worried! But I have another friend on LJ who is really taken up by her study, so I hoped that it was "just" work that kept you busy. And I guess the subject isn't easy in itself- everything you learn is probably reflected on yourself first?! That is an exhausting procedure (if it's really that way). I hope you have to time to relax coming up on the horizon (no- wait- semester starts in April here, same at your place?). Anyway: Keep going and "bite your way through it"! I'll be here, thinking of you and sending you my best wishes! :-)
