I'll be first in line with a baseball bat. :) But I agree about the denial. I noticed (cause I saw the episode- and you were right, I loved it)that in some places it was like Dean was saying what he thought he should say rather than what he wanted to- like when Sam was talking about leaving, there was that pause and then Dean says "yeah, i think that's best" or whatever and I thought hang on... look at you and your face all conflicted... you don't really mean that! But Dean is Dean. And yes, he's a little self-righteous, and he's totally transferring his feelings rather than owning up to them- but that's Dean. And something's going to happen that will jolt that boy back to intelligence and back to Sam and we can have our brother's back.
