[meta]: A new God: but an old story.

( So let me preface this by saying I'm a loser who meant to write this ages ago and forgot to. )
I had been meaning, for a very long while, to do some kind of meta on Dean, ever since 4.16 came around. But I never quite knew how to go about it, mostly because Dean and his fucked up feelings have been discussed so often in the past. no_ones_sleep about Dean (with a side of Sam) in the comments of my 6.16 post and realised it was everything I'd wanted to say. So I'm reposting it here (edited, of course, because there was a lot of other talk that went on as well- AND I had a sticky keyboard that day and there were a lot of embarrassing typos made).

Mar. 9th, 2011 12:55 amis my favourite Agatha Christie book ever. It's psychological thriller themes and closed-off setting are timeless, providing the basis for all kinds of other media- P.D James' The Skull Beneath the Skin (which I didn't like, at all), Mindhunters, Harper's Island etc etc. It's more than the idea that you know the killer, it's the idea that it could be you, that underneath the exterior of human there's something dark and dangerous and twisted.

In which Disney is still a BAMF
Dec. 6th, 2010 01:14 amI love Danneel Harris, and her romance with that Ackles boy is squeeworthy. Like, looking at the Lakers photos, I think I had a grin on my face the whole time looking at them. I love her, just love her.
Which is why, when one of the photos kind of made me do a double-take, I flipped out until I figured out what was wrong with it.
